Is The Perfect Amount of Sleep What You Think It Is?

Sleep has been something we were born already knowing how to do its a subconscious thing our body does to recharge. The perfect amount of sleep is said to be 8 hours, but is that really true? according to helthline.com "Every individual has unique needs and preferences, and the answer to how much sleep you need is no different." This means many factors can be involved in how much sleep you actually need some of these factors are age, genetic makeup, and how you sleep. If you look at sleep recommendations for teens according to age 8 hours of sleep is the minimum amount of sleep, teens (ages 14 -17)are recommended to get 8-10 hours of sleep a night but adults (ages 18+) on the other hand need 7-9 hours of sleep. To close the amount of sleep we need isn't a one size fits all scenario it really depends on who you are but overall the average amount of sleep you need is 8-10 hour if you are a teen and 7-9 hours if you are an adult. happy sleeping
